1995 Chateau Montrose St. Estephe Bordeaux France
Since the 1989 vintage, Chateau Montrose has been one of Bordeaux’s brightest stars. The 1995 Montrose confirms this. Here’s a terrific St. Estephe that is atypically forward and user-friendly (due in large part to a higher percentage of Merlot in the blend), but still has the capacity to age for 20-plus years.
Price: $75,00

The 1995 Petrus is an extraordinary, rich, concentrated, and backward wine that deserves 5-40 years in a temperature-controlled cellar. Limited availability.

1995 Gaja Barolo Sperss 3 L Piedmont Italy
Angelo Gaja is best known for producing magnificent, age-worthy Barbarescos from Piedmont in northern Italy. Beginning with the 1988 vintage, he added this Barolo to his portfolio. Sperss is Piedmontese for profound longing or nostalgia. The 30-acre vineyard is considered one of the finest in the Barolo appellation. Packed with dense, dark-berried fruits, anise, earth, and spice, this age-worthy bottle should not be approached until 2015 and will be magnificent through 2030.
Price: $850,00

1995 Gaja Barolo Sperss 5 L Piedmont Italy
Five liter bottles are a rare commodity indeed, even more so when filled with precious juice such as this Barolo from the Sperss vineyard. Sperss means profound longing or nostalgia and this site is one of the finest in the appellation. Produced from low yields and retaining the taut acidity and burly tannins for which Barolo is known, this beauty needs a profoundly long time of 20-40 years before it should be opened and savored.
Price: $1,00
