1990 Ch. Cos d'Estournel St. Esthphe Bordeaux
By a good measure the top producer in St. Estèphe and one of the 'Super Seconds' in the Bordeaux firmament. Forty percent Merlot in the vineyard and generous use of new oak balances the character of Cos d'Estournel's heavier clay soils. The 1990 is a stellar vintage for this chateau.
Price: $145,00

1990 Ch. Latour Pauillac Premier Cru Bordeaux France
Many consider 1990 the last "classic" vintage in Bordeaux and Chateau Latour is unquestionably one of the greatest wines of the vintage. Astonishingly concentrated and tannic in its youth, the 1990 begs to be cellared for at least another 10 years. Like other great vintages of Latour, it will easily keep for decades if properly cellared.
Price: $595,00

1990 Ch. Mouton-Rothschild Pauillac Bordeaux
One of the five First Growths of the Bordeaux region, and one of the world's most sought after wines. Each vintage of Mouton incorporates an original work of art on the label. In 1990 the artist was Francis Bacon. Our current supply of this wine was purchased directly from a fine English cellar and both wine and labels are in pristine condition.
Price: $275,00

1990 Chateau Leoville-Las-Cases St Julien 2eme Cru Bordeaux
Without a doubt one of the super stars in Bordeaux. Officially a Second Growth in the 1855 classification, Léoville Las Cases has been making wine at First Growth quality levels for a long time. The vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon (67%), Merlot (17%), Cabernet Franc (13%) and Petit Verdot (3%).
Price: $299,95

1990 Chateau Rausan Segla Margaux Bordeaux France
Unlike the typically fragrant and silky wines one has come to expect from the appellation of Margaux, the 1990 Rausan Segla is powerfully tannic and backward. However, underneath its tough skin are incredibly delicious ripe fruit, sweet oak, cedar, and earth. Expect this beauty to start blossoming in 5 years and continue to bloom over the next 20 years.
Price: $110,00

1992 Leeuwin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River Australia
What Cab can do if shown a little patience. The wine is smooth and velvety in texture, complex, and packed with dominant blackberry and currant flavors. Part of Leeuwin Estate's Art Series, perfect for oeonophile and art-lover alike.

1993 Leeuwin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River Australia
Another in the Leeuwin Estate Art Series that strives to integrate winemaking with the visual arts. This Cabernet is mature and rustic in style, loaded with currant and dark berry fruit, and presently drinking beautifully.

1994 Leeuwin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River Australia
I sincerely attempt to use universal, nonidiomatic language when writing about wine, but I'd be remiss if I designated the 1994 Leeuwin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon as anything other than "killer." It's delicious.
Price: $45,00

1995 Ch. Cos d'Estournel St. Estephe 2eme Cru Bordeaux
Under the sage guidance of Bruno Prats (and now his son Jean-Guillaume) Cos d'Estournel has made it to the top of Bordeaux's hierarchy. The '95 Cos is a tremendous wine; one that could be consumed now (due in large part to 40% Merlot in the blend), yet has the ability to last up to 20 years.
Price: $129,95

1995 Chateau Beychevelle St. Julien Bordeaux
Although classified as a fourth growth, Beychevelle consistently performs at a high-quality level. The 1995 Beychevelle was aged in 60 percent new French oak for 20 months. Best to consume over the next 10 years or so.
Price: $89,95
