1997 Pietra Santa Dolcetto San Benito County California
In Piedmont, Dolcetto ("little sweet one") is usually produced in a light- to medium-bodied style, with sappy, juicy fruit and tangy acidity. Pietra Santa has taken this one step further, and aged the wine in new French oak, resulting in a fuller-bodied, more "serious" Dolcetto. Only 400 cases produced.
Price: $16,00
